Policies and Procedures

Policies for the shops:

 

Hygiene- All of our shops are disinfected weekly ensuring all diseases, viruses and bacteria are killed. Our volunteers maintain a clean and tidy working environment, ensuring the safety of all of our customers.

 

Refund and returns-We do not operate a refund or return policy, we encourage unhappy customers to do an exchange of the item value with another of the same price. 

 

What to expect- a warm welcome and a friendly smile, all volunteers will ensure your shopping experience with us is one of ease and comfort. 

 

Procedures for the shops:

 

All stock is checked thoroughly before being placed on our shelves. Also being kept separate for 72 hours before handling. 

 

We kindly ask you enter the shop and talk to a volunteer regarding donations instead of leaving it outside of shops.

procedures for the kennels.

 

 

 

 

Rehoming-

 

Once the 'Apply to adopt' form has been completed we will contact you if we have any suitable dogs.

 

once contacted, we require a video of your garden sent to the Facebook page.

 

if we approve you will be invited to meet the dog.

 

You can walk the dog as well as sit in our new retreat to have a 'home like' feel to see what they’re like in a home atmosphere.

 

if the dog is suitable to your family, they can go with you subject to an adoption fee, this will be discussed prior to adoption. 

 

 

 

 

Kennel hygiene-

 

the kennels are deep cleaned weekly, and thoroughly.

 

subject to a dog being rehomed then the kennels will be deep cleaned. 

 

 

 

 

Dog arrivals-

PLEASE BRING VACCINATION RECORDS UPON SURRENDERING. 

prior to a dog being surrendered to us we prepare a kennel with a bed and water

 

toys will be chosen on arrival 

 

they will receive a new collar and harness (availability pending)

 

walks will be taken to release energy.
